Breakfast and Lunch Program
BREAKFAST - Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:10 to 8:30 AM.
"Food for Thought School" graciously sponsored by Qualico (Italian Bakery, William Huff Advertising LTD and Edmonton Public School) donates to our breakfast with an assortments of different items on different days such as; cereal, toast, yogurt, pancakes and fresh fruit when available.
LUNCHES - Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays from 12:29 to 12:45 PM.
Hope Mission will be providing the school with assorted sandwiches, snacks and also assorted fresh fruit when available.
- Unfortunately there are no microwaves for students to use and please remember to provide your child with utensils.
Bruins Canteen
On Tuesday and Thursdays we will be offering hot item specials to purchase in our Bruins Den Canteen. All specials from the Den are $5.00 and under.
Some examples of specials we serve are:
- Hot Dogs
- Grilled Cheese Sandwich
- Halal Burger
- Taco in a Bag
- Perogies
The Bruins Den is a cash only canteen that also serves drinks and snacks.
WINTER 2023-2024 LUNCH HOUR
On Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Fridays
Student can choose to eat inside in the ATRIUM for the first 20 Minutes of lunch.
When the lunch bell rings, the students will go to their lockers, get their lunch and any clothing they may need for the outdoors and head to the Atrium.
First Half ATRIUM - 12:29 to 12:49 PM
Second Half OUTSIDE 12:49 to 1:09 PM
A bell will ring at 12:49 PM and all students move outside for the remainder of lunch weather permitting
Thursday Lunch Schedule
First Half ATRIUM - 11:24 to 11:44 AM
Second Half OUTSIDE - 11:44 to 12:04 PM
A bell will ring at 11:44 PM and all students move outside for the remainder of lunch weather permitting
Inclement Weather at Lunch
Students will be informed of the weather and can stay inside if:
- it is raining heavily,
- temperatures drop to -23 degrees Celsius
Open Campus
If you choose to go off campus for LUNCH you can, but you can only come back into the building at the END OF LUNCH!
