John D. Bracco teachers develop classes to meet objectives as outlined in provincial programs of study, which identify what students are expected to learn and do in all subjects and grades. There are five main core areas to the curriculum. They are Language Arts, Mathematics, Physical Education, Science and Social Studies.
French or Spanish Languages are studied by our students. Student attendance and effort–based ability are necessary to ensure that student achievement continues to improve.
Academic Coaching is available after school Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, from 3:00—3:30 pm. Students receive help in understanding the day’s work or to receive coaching on long term assignments and we advise that the student see their teacher for the subject that they would like the help in.
SchoolZone is an excellent internet-based program for students and parents to keep track of daily progress, unit projects, exams, attendance and school events.
