Student Leadership

You are invited to participate in a variety of school spirit activities hosted by the Student Leadership classes throughout the year, starting with the excitement of Spirit Week and a Welcome Back barbeque. Later in the year, you can organize a performance at the Pep Rally's at Halloween, Christmas, and in June. You can use your charm to help raise funds for the Terry Fox Run, or try out your rocket arm at Dodgeball Intramurals in the winter!

Commit to a level of involvement that works best for you. If you choose to take Leadership as an option, you can be part of the team that coordinates these activities, motivating and inspiring your fellow Bracco Bruins. Grade Nine mentors work with Grade Eights and Sevens in the development of interpersonal, project management, and problem solving, and leadership skills. (Not to mention that commitment to service and leadership don't hurt when you're applying for scholarships in High School!) If you choose other options to take during the day, you can develop your leadership skills through Student Council - a club that meets at lunch break and after school. Student Council has a focus on charitable causes, one of them is to paticipate in the Geomeer Hamper Building at Christmas time.
